Barry T.

With over 35 years of dedicated teaching experience, I am passionate about helping students of all ages and skill levels unlock their musical potential. Whether you are picking up an instrument for the very first time, guiding a young child's first musical steps, or returning to a lifelong passion as an adult, my studio, which I call Heart and Voice Studio, provides a welcoming, supportive space to learn and grow.
What I Teach
I specialize in multi-instrumental instruction tailored to each student's unique goals and musical interests:
* Piano: From foundational technique and music reading to classical repertoire and chord-based playing.
* Guitar: Acoustic and electric styles, covering chords, strumming patterns, fingerpicking, and song accompaniment.
* Voice: Healthy vocal production, breath control, pitch accuracy, and confidence-building across various genres.
* Ukulele: A fun, approachable entry point for all ages to learn chords, rhythm, and popular songs quickly.
My Teaching Philosophy
Music should be inspiring, rewarding, and fun. Every student learns differently, which is why I customize my lessons to match your individual learning style, pace, and favorite genres. My goal is not just to teach you how to play an instrument or sing a song, but to cultivate a genuine, lifelong love and appreciation for music.
