A free Google profile puts your business on Google Maps. It can bring you new clients and make you look like a real business. Put your HappyTask page in its Website box. Then clients who find you on the map can book you on HappyTask.

How to set it up

  1. Start your free profile

    Go to business.google.com and sign in with Google. Type the name you go by, not HappyTask. Then pick the work you do, like House cleaning.

  2. Keep your home private

    Google asks for your home address to check that you are real. Say that you go to your clients, and Google will hide it. Then add the cities you work in, like Las Vegas or Henderson.

  3. Add your HappyTask page as your website

    Paste your HappyTask link in the Website box. To find it, open Tools and tap Copy link. It looks like happytask.com/yourname/.

  4. Leave the phone box empty

    Google lets you skip the phone when you add a website. Then clients tap Website and land on your HappyTask page. We built that page just for you, so booking is simple. Clients pick a time and pay there. You do not have to answer calls or chase a payment.

  5. Prove it is you

    Google may ask for a short video. Film it live in one take, at least 30 seconds long. Show a street sign near your home, your tools, and you at work.

Does it cost money?
No. A Google Business Profile is free.
Can I have a Google profile?
Yes, if you meet your clients face to face, like when you go to their home. Google does not give profiles to work done only online.
Will Google show my home address?
Not if you say you go to your clients. Then Google hides it and shows the areas you serve.
Can I put HappyTask in my business name?
No. Use the name you go by in real life. Do not add words like best or Las Vegas to it.
Can I make one profile for each service?
No. Make one profile, and add each kind of work you do to it.
Why use my HappyTask page as my website?
Your page shows your services, prices and reviews. Clients can book you and pay, all in one place. If you have your own website, use it, and put your HappyTask link on it.
How do I show up higher on the map?
Add clear photos of your work. Ask happy clients to leave you a Google review. Google decides who shows up first, so we cannot promise a spot.
Can my Google reviews show on HappyTask?
Maybe. Some reviews you got before you joined can go on your HappyTask page. Each one shows where it came from. Ask us with Get help in Tools.
